That’s right my PEEPS! My first chapter to my story is finally done! I’ll let you read some of it and tell me what you think about it ON THIS POST!!! Read it NOW!!!
But first, let me tell you about it. Basically, it’s about a robot named Flare. Okay, yeah, I think you’ve heard of this before in my World Unknown post. However, I changed a lot of the plot since I first told you guys about it. Like how I improved the look of the characters and how I improved the whole meaning of the series with different story premises. This is the one story premise that I REALLY loved. Anyway, it’s about this robot who doesn’t know she’s a robot. Okay, so I think I kept that part a lot in my premises. So when she fell on Earth from another planet, she lost her memory card. A card that holds everything shes ever loved, wished, hoped, dreamed, or remembered. An organization called D.U.S.T (still working on the name) found her when she crashed into the water, her card falling down below. After 9 years, she lived with them and went to school with her new friends. However, not long after will she learn the truth about her past.
The story will soon be on Wattpad (after I make a cover) and on Webtoon (as soon as I finish drawing it) or DeviantArt. Here is the FULL chapter:
Swords clanged with each other as both Clover and Lyra fought. They were practicing combat.
“Lyra! Focus on your attack once you’ve had a chance to concentrate!” Clover commanded, “It’ll help you defend yourself and kill the opponent!” she ran towards Lyra with the intention to kill.
“What if I don’t want to kill the opponent?” Lyra stated, she blocked Clover’s attack and struck her sword aiming at her waist. Clover dodged and hit Lyra to the dense ground.
“Then, you’ll die,” Clover said, pointing her razor-sharp sword down at Lyra’s chest.
“Must everything end in violence?” Lyra said.
“There is no mercy in the real world. I wish there was too, but nothing is ever what you want it to be.” Clover said, trying to finish her off with a blow. Lyra dodged it and struck again, but this time, she would do it right. She swung her sword around and banged Clover on her back, making her tumble to the ground.
“No mercy, huh?” Lyra said, doing the same gesture as Clover did to her. She put her sword down and reached out to Clover. Clover reached for her hand and pulled herself up.
“I hope you understand one day, that you can’t serve mercy to every criminal you meet.” Cover said as she put her sword away.
“But how could I possibly kill someone who was just an innocent person?” Lyra asked.
“You are just as innocent as them,” Clover replied, she put her hand on Lyra’s shoulder, “Don’t let that confuse you.”
“But that’s just it! How can you tell that they’re really bad?”
“Once you see someone that you love die. Then you know that they’re more than bad, they’re evil.” Clover said as she put her other hand on another shoulder. “You’ll understand one day. Right now, it’s too hard for you to understand.” She looked at Lyra straight in the eyes. Lyra tried to look away, but couldn’t evade Clover’s intense gaze. After some seconds, she spoke.
“How’s it too hard for me to understand?” She shoved off Clover’s hands from her shoulders. Clover sighed deeply.
“It’s too hard for you to-” A soldier walked in, interrupting Clover. Lyra looked at the soldier, he didn’t look back.
“Lieutenant general Clover?” the soldier asked.
“Ah, major general Ridge. What’s on your mind?” Clover said.
“They’re here,” Ridge replied. Clover nodded as Ridge tipped his cap and walked away. Clover leaned over to Lyra and whispered,
“We’ll talk about it later. For now, there are people I’d like for you to meet.” Clover said. Lyra’s concerned face relaxed as she felt curious to know these people. The two walked from the arena to the front doors of the building. “Since I figured that you never had gone outside before and seen the things I’ve seen, I thought my nieces would help.”
“Your, nieces?” Lyra asked.
“Yes, my nieces. Their parents are on a business trip this week, so my sister, their mother, asked if I was able to watch over them. Sure enough, I knew it would be perfect for you. So I said yes.” Clover said as she opened the doors, her nieces came inside.
“Hi aunt Clover!” a teenage boy said as he waved when he came in. Next, to him, a little girl rushed to Clover, ready for a hug.
“HELLO AUNTY!!!” She screamed, as Clover bent down and opened her arms wide to catch her. The girl jumped into Clover’s arms, the two embraced. Lyra looked at the two and had a heartfelt moment. Soon, Clover stood up and gave the boy a noogie.
“Hello, you two, generals,” Clover said, teasing as she took her hand off the boy’s head. The boy started rubbing his hair back to its original shape and gave Clover a hug. After a few seconds later, Clover let go and put her hands on each of the kids.
“Guys, I’d like you to meet someone. That is Lyra. She’s the new soldier I was telling you about.” Clover said as the kids both looked at her. “This is Amelia. She’s this guy’s little sister.” She patted her left hand on the boy. “His name is Jason.”
“Hi!” Amelia said, smiling with glee. She waved to Lyra and she waved back.
“H-hi,” Jason said, “I-I’m Jason, well, wait, you already knew that cause Clo-I mean, my aunt said that and um…well..hi?” Clover rolled her eyes as Lyra giggled a bit. Jason blushed.
“Lieutenant general Clover?” Ridge interrupted.
“Yes, major? Clover questioned. Everyone turned to look at the two speaking.
“General Travis needs you,” Ridge replied. Clover sighed.
“Well, I’ll let you take them to their room Lyra. You all have fun!” She said as she patted both Amelia and Jason’s shoulders twice. “I’ll be back to check on you.” Clover then put her hands to her side following Ridge as she turned her head and waved goodbye to them. As soon as she left, the trio fell silent.
“Well, uh…I’ve never done this before, so uh..this way,” Lyra said as she pointed to the direction where the guest rooms were.
“So, where’d you come from?” Amelia asked.
“Uh..I-I don’t know. I never knew about where or how or-”
“What rank are you?”
“Just a standard soldier, I guess. I’m hoping to-”
“Why’s your hair orange?”
“Uhh….”
“Do you sleep?”
“How come I never saw you in the city before?
“Are you ever out much?”
“How’d you get here?”
“Do you live in the city?”
“How ‘bout in the countryside? Are you country?”
“OOH! How do you have blue eyes?”
“Who are your parents?”
“Do you have a brother?”
“A sister?”
“If you do, where are they?”
“OH! What’s your favorite hobby?”
“How old are you?”
“Do you like-”
“OK! I think that’s enough questions, Amelia.” Jason said, unable to handle the load of questions. “Sorry, about my sister, she…asks a lot of questions to newcomers and, well, new people she meets.”
“No, no, it’s ok,” Lyra said, twitching one eye, alerted. Her mind was full of questions she never asked before. She shook her head to turn her mind blank.
“So, uh, if it’s okay…I’d like to ask one…tiny..question…” Jason said softly.
“Um…ok….just uh…don’t-don’t make it long, please…” Lyra said smiling a bit.
“Ok..so uh…well…” Jason started.
“How did you meet Clover?”
——
“WHAT?!” Clover yelled. She pounded the table with an agitated fist.
“Lieutenant Clover, it’s the only way to see what they’re up too,” Travis said trying to convey Clover into doing their plan.
“IT WON’T WORK! THEY’RE GONNA FIND OUT THAT WE’VE BEEN KEEPING THIS SECRET FOR 9 YEARS!” Clover yelled in rage this time.
“Clover, you haven’t told her yet, have you?” Travis questioned. Clover looked down.
“N-no, sir.” She said softly.
“Now, look, I know that you and Lyra have been close for some time. But Dr. Sanford turned in the test results for her and well, she is very special. All I’m asking for you to do is to stall them enough to not have a single intention of knowing what we’re up to, while I try to find out what they’re hiding. That is all.”
“Sir, they’re going to find her if you want her to be out and about near the city. That will never work.”
“I know that, Clover. So don’t. Don’t have her out and about on that day. Have her in…some area. Closed off perhaps.”
“Well, there is one way, but she’ll learn so much about non-violence and wars that she’ll have mixed feelings on who to kill or not.”
“And why exactly is that a problem. I thought you handled it.”
“Not exactly, sir. You see she-she thinks differently. I don’t think she has the memory to-”
“No, no. We aren’t going to remind her. When she’s ready.” Clover took a deep sigh.
“I know, sir.”
“So, meeting in three days with Lyra accounted for?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Then it’s settled. You are dismissed now, Clover. Thank you for your time.”
“Goodnight, sir,” Clover said as she escorted herself out of the room, stone-faced. However, when she continued down the hallway to the corridor, her face melted away into a concerning one.
——
“…and that’s how I met Clover,” Lyra said sitting on the bed as Amelia unpacked her items. Jason was unpacking too, but mostly staring at Lyra and listening to her story.
“Wow….I mean uh…wow! I never knew you actually sank in the water when you crashed. However, where did you crash from again?” Jason said as he continues to unpack.
“Well, Clover told me that I was a rocket or some space ship that I was on. I guess it was from here.” Lyra said, “Maybe I was an astronaut.” she whispered to herself.
“Interesting…” Jason said.
“So anyway, what do your parents do? For work I mean.” Lyra asked.
“Well, our mom is a pilot and we never get to see her that often. But our dad, he’s a firefighter. Both of them go on business trips together though. Mostly because they both have a ‘Helping Society’ job.” Amelia said waving her hairbrush around like a magic wand.
“What’s a ‘Helping Society’ job?”
“Basically a job that you have to help the community in some way. So like the police, firefighters, doctors, nurses, and pilots have a meeting together with the government and talk about, well, community stuff? So yeah.” Amelia said as she placed her hairbrush on the sink.
“But what about-”
“The NAVY and army have a separate meeting with the government because they’re more dangerous and elite fighters.” Amelia quickly replied.
“Oh, ok,” Lyra said surprised as she heard footsteps come their way. It was Clover.
“Lyra, I have some news for you.” She said. Everyone dropped their stuff and looked at Clover.
“What is it?” Lyra said. Clover took a deep sigh as she looked at Lyra, still concerned.
“Tomorrow, you’re gonna start a new day with them.” Everyone looked confused.
“You’re going to school tomorrow,” Clover said. Everyone stared back at Lyra. She was surprised and very, very joyous.
And that’s about it! I’m currently working on Episode 2 and everything so, stay tuned! Tell me in the comments about who’s your favorite character so far! I’d like to know! Thanks for reading and listening to what I have to say. Bai PEEPS!!!
