YO PEEPS!
So, I have Trimester One BEST WORK EVER! Well, for that Trimester anyway. TwT
Anyways, here it is!
Math:
My best work with Math is probably, the percent homework. I used to be SO bad at percents. Now, I understand it better! WAY better. Basically, in the percent homework, you just find percents from fractions and sometimes there are numbers missing from different parts of the fraction. For example, ?/100=56/356 (I don’t know). The slash is the fraction division sign. So sometimes, the number could be there and not there. Like, instead of that problem it could be, 34/100= ?/356 or 34/100= 56/? Get it now? I hope so. Here’s a picture that may explain it better for you. Also, here’s a website to look at the steps on how to do it.
Anyway, I chose this piece because I used to be bad at percents. So on to the next piece of work!
LA (Language Arts):
My best work for LA is probably WW. Which stands for Wordly Wise. Why? Well, it’s because I finally got a 100% on one of them. I used to not understand a single one that the OLD Wordly Wise said. Now, I use Exploros. Which is WAY MORE HELPFUL. If you don’t know Wordly Wise, here’s a brief description. Basically, Wordly Wise is a website to help you learn new words depending on your grade level. If you’re in 8th grade like me, then you’d be in level 8. So, I suggest you take a peek at Wordly Wise and if you don’t like it, oh well, you’re just gonna have to deal with it. Sorry (at least it’s helpful!).
Science:
My best work for Science is the SW’s that time. SW stands for Science World magazines. I think I chose this because I actually understood everything that was being read in the magazine, which for me I think maybe an improvement. If you don’t know what that is, then I’ll tell you this. Basically, it’s supposed to be a magazine with science stuff in it (obviously). Then we fill in the packet that’s handed out to us. It will have very weird and confusing questions, but it isn’t really that hard. As long as you know what you’re doing, then you’re fine.
SS (Social Studies):
The best work for SS is probably the Poem homework. I’m still super proud of that. I chose this piece because I thought it wasn’t going to go well for the poem, but it did! So, basically in the poem, you’re supposed to write a poem, write a song and rap it, or act it out. Both my partner an I chose to do the poem because it was the easiest one to do. Here it is!
Sorry if you can’t really see it.
Research Skills (STEAM):
All right, the last one. So in STEAM we basically had to do a project called “Who Am I?”. We were supposed to look further into our family history and ours to find out who we are. I chose this project because it was truly a fun project to do. Anyway, here’s another brief description. What we were supposed to do was to write about our name and it’s meaning. Also how we got that name. We also were supposed to write about our ethnic diversity (who we identify as; rase, came from, ethnicity…), our family history (all the way to great-grandparents), and our passions and interests. It was fun to learn about others, but it was tiring to have to grade each one. So here’s a picture of it. I won’t share the link, because of privacy. *wink wink*
Anyway, that’s about it! That’s my best work! Comment down below to share your best work! See you all real soon! Bye PEEPS! 🙂
